So i hear that Spain is going to the polling stations on June 26th, i will be travelling on the Frances at this time, can anybody advise as to what services close during General Elections in Spain - does life go on as normal? should i prepare better for this day?

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
For pilgrims purposes, it's like any other Sunday. The only exception that comes to my mind is that if someone has a business that opens on Sundays and it's just runned by himself or herself (i.e.: no employees) and is finally called to be part of the polling table/desk, s/he'll have to close his/her business that Sunday.

Nothing really and life goes on as normal, but the bars might be more lively in the evenings ;-) Buen Camino, SY

Money stolen from bag on bed while sleeping. Estelle municipal hostel. Not a big inconvenience as my passport and credit cards were left.
