Good morning all
Myself and my sister are starting to walk 100 km from outside Porrino to Santiago in early June. Where can we purchase our Camino passport when we arrive in Porrino the day before and where will we be able to get it stamped before we start at the 100km mark? Also my sister suffers from back problem
s - are there facilities on the route where we stay to get a back massage?
Many thanks for any suggestions.

I am afraid you will not qualify for your Compostella, if you both start there. The official place is Tui, which is 115 km, to qualify to receive it. I would not want you to ge disappointed at the end... Buen Camino!

Start in Tui. Massages and physio available most towns.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Oups! I also forgot to mention that you will each require two stamps per day to qualify for your Compostella. I hope all goes well for you ladies, you will enjoy the path.

Thank you so much for your reply. Unfortunately I did not for some reason see your reply before I left, as busy work, life etc took over. However we did complete the walk and came back totally refreshed.

Thank you so much for your replies. I was far too late in asking them to change our plans but it was good to know that we were not going to be able to qualify for our Compostella. It did not take from a most fantastic experience. Apologies for not thanking you before now.
