Hello there,

Thank you all for this space. The information and good vibes have been invaluable.
Hoping to meet some of you along the camino this July/August.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Camino del Norte is like no other. Twice I've been on CDN and both times have been spiritually moving and exhilarating! Have an exciting and significant journey!
Ultreïa!

Welcome @purity

First camino - I hope you meet a few pilgrims along the way to share the experience with. I’ve read member Les Brass’ post - https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/camino-lebaniego.67984/#post-859270 (live now) -there are a few people walking - so you shouldn’t be alone. It’s more fun on first camino to have others to bounce ideas and questions off. Good luck.
We Ozzies are banned (by our government) from overseas travel at the moment (‘at least’ until mid September) - so probably the mix of pilgrims won’t include any Ozzies- not sure about Americans.
Possibly more Spanish and UK pilgrims and possibly others from Schengen zone .
Take care out there - be prepared. Read some of the preparation posts on this forum relating to requirements when walking during Covid19 times.

Buen camino and please keep us posted .
Annie

Edit: to add link related to Covid19 safety recommendations on camino.

oh wow. you are such a gem!! I will read these now. I’m very excited but also still confused about some things... like I can’t decide whether I should bring a sleeping pad just in case since I would never want to leave it behind 😩 so hopefully those who are walking now can give me some insight. thanks again for the link.

and too bad there won’t be many ozzies there, you’re all a blast hehe! thankfully there are so many of you here in TO :)
