Hey Penny, will they let all those metal bits through security? You might have to check yourself in ... all wrapped in shrinkwrap!
    Brave lady. Buen Camino.
I'm off on first Camino in 4 weeks TODAY. starting from SJPdeP on 23 March. Yayyy.
Hi Penny - thanks for sharing. I walked from France St Jean to Santiago in September/Oct 2018. It inspired me and also my family. Your story is very moving and I love your attitude. Hope you manage the Way again and have lots of luck. Take care :)
It looks like you tied your metal ribbon to the Cruze de Ferro. I leave on Monday to start my second Camino and I will look for it and let you know.

I was unable to find your metal ribbon. I believe that the items are removed at intervals and too much time had passed.
    Hi Penny
I saw your post on the blog as I was looking at the pics. My son and I are thinking of doing the walk this May/June.
What route did you take as it looks like you did it under 1 week.

Hi Mark I did it from May 29th to July 4th . The Napolian route from St Jean. Sticking to the main route to Santiago
Janet and I were remembering our meeting today. What an inspiration! Hope that you have had a wonderful Christmas season.

I did it ! An amazing experience. No blisters ! Keen sandles and diabetic socks. Rest your feet, remove your shoes and socks. Don't overpack, I donated half. Slow and steady...it's not a race. I saw many leave due to stress injuries. Just Enjoy!

Hello, Penny. I'm taking the liberty of sending your hip and knee replacement post to a good friend who just had one hip replacement, and is discouraged that she will never get to walk the Camino. By the way, so to speak, I was on the Camino Francis in 2016 virtually the same dates as you. I also walked last June on virtually the same dates. The weather in 2016 was much better than in 2018.

    Hi
My dislocation occurred one week after arriving home...waterskiing. They say it had nothing to do with my walking the Camino. Just really crappy bad luck
