Hello Magnara, Appreciate your couples' packing list. I see each of you carried a headlamp; was that necessary? We are starting the Camino Frances on March 1 in Pamplona, but we are leaving home for Europe this Friday so we are packing now. We (husband & I) thought we could get by with one lamp for night time excursions to the toilet. Would like your thoughts please.

Hi Magnara. I saw in your equipment list that you carried an Akubra hat. Which model? I ask because I have an Akubra Territory to which I'm rather attached, but some have suggested a felt hat doesn't do well on the trail. Was yours a felt model? -
