Hi, I need some advise about travelling budget... how much does it cost to stay at albergue?
I understand that the price can vary along the way, but for example Orisson is 35 euro, is that about what it costs? or Orisson are counted as one of the more expensive places?
I have based my budget...
I will start my first camino august 25th from St Jean (and hopefully walk into Santiago de Compostela october 9th), please add me to the list. Thank you :-)
Hello, I am also doing my first camino in september, counting days now...
So thank you for posting this ! All advice are welcome
Maybe we bump into each other along the way :-)
@Peter Aulbury My plan is to not plan so much :-) but I have 7 week so 20km per day at least in the beginning then I will decide along the way, my first day I will stop in orisson.
I will start in st Jean in late August and hopefully walk into Santiago de Compostela 7w later.
I'm really looking forward to this big adventure that I've been dreaming about for so many years
Can anyone confirm if this calculation (attached link) is still relevant? and gives a realistic estimate of what the accommodation and food costs. I plan to go next year (August, September) and need to know how much money I need to save. I intend to go all the way and think it will take me...
When I walk the camino I want to be totally offline, I don’t want to bring any technical gadgets, not even a phone. But do I need a phone? Is it a must for booking Albergues or is it just "good to have” like in case of emergency? what´s your experience?
