I am here too and have been struggling BIG time with blisters, 3on each foot, symmetrically. I am in Belorado, 2 days from Burgos. I'm considering taking public transportation to Burgos tomorrow and then resting for a day or two. I've been trekking with severe pain.
I know you are going to love this story...
I left Puente La Reina this morning. I entered the town of Maneru and was going to keep on walking straight through. I stopped and double backed to stop for a coffee and to practice what I preach about foot care. As I was standing there chatting with a...
I started walking from St. Jean on Saturday. Rumor has it that today is Wednesday, supposedly only a few days after my departure. How that is possible is a Camino mystery, as life is so full.
Friends, you may recall my pre-walk post about Orrison being full the days I wanted. Make no mistake...

Here is my entire packing list. This is grim:
Total weight, including a full Nalgene bottle is 21.1 pounds. This also includes the few ounces of the clothes that will actually be on my body, not in my pack (doesn't include the shoes, though, because those will always be out of my pack)...
That is beautiful. I am doing the same thing. I am walking for my friend who would love to do it but cannot due to metastasizing cancer to her spine, and for my father, paralyzed from the neck down from agent orange poisoning...
I've been visualizing my trek as a walk of prayer for humanity. For...
Hi Sandra,
Thank you for the idea. I remain open to possibilities. At this point, I feel determined to walk the whole way, whether in one day or in stages. If I decide not to cross the Pyrenees, then I will just start in Roncesvalles, since that is where I go first from Madrid. See you along the...
