Plantar Fasciitis
Maybe check with a podiatrist. I tried to self treat plantar fasciitis for a year. I went to a podiatrist that told me that the fat pad on my heel was gone. She prescribed Hokas. I walked the CF last fall with no pain. Buen Camino- jfgough

Best tape to prevent blisters
Vaseline is a great preventative measure, as are merino wool socks. I got a minor blister after about 300 km and after I ran out Vaseline. Keeping your feet dry and lubricated will help you avoid blisters. Compeed and other products are readily available on the Camino Frances.- jfgough

How to prevent plantar fasciitis on the Camino
Hi I had what i thought was PF for over a year. When i finally went to a podiatrist she told me that my arches were fine, but the fat pad on my affected heel was gone. Im a 65 yo male with plenty of wear and tear so this may not relate to your problem. The doctor told to 1) stop wearing hiking...- jfgough
