1. Comfort
2. Not waterproof….too hot and heat makes blisters
3. Low…like Lone Star or other trail runners
4. Good Merino wool socks
5. Toe socks like injinjis or other liner socks
6. Take shoes off after every hour or so of walking…rinse feet in cool water and dry…or just cool them in air.

I have used Duo Lingo....but recently found "Spanish with Paul" on YouTube. It is much more effective (IMO)....and free....My sister is using Michelle Thomas Spanish...which is not free, but also highly recommended.
Yes, this is helpful....I used the Wise Pilgrim on the Norte...didn't realize it had Portugese also...great. Brierly...many love it....for me, it is a little overwhelming.
Trecile
I am confused by the "one size fits all"....is it somehow adjustable? What size torso do you have? Most backpacks that I've tried have been ordered specifically by torso length....and maybe a separate measurement for waist...So, I am curious...
What guide books and "Ancient Texts" did you pore over to make your plan....cuz I am considering the same, i.e., switching back and forth to see all three routes? Thanks!
I just bought the Karma Komba and the Brazilliant. I find the smell overwhelming. I hope it fades or I will have to leave it outside on the deck. I won't be able to carry it in a backpack.
The first part of the norte was my favorite. I would not invite family for the last part. That might discourage them from ever walking the complete Camino.

The search...
Michelle, To which Half-zip Cragshopper are you referring? I am looking at the Miska half-zip. It has raglan sleeves...so removing them would not be so easy.
Thanks for the response, Michelle. I wish they had this in a vest......When i search on microfleece, i get few results. I think...not sure....sleeves might bother me.
Can't wait to test it out. I have been watching the videos....on fitting...etc...I especially enjoyed the video about the 'guts' of the packs...
Kiki Outdoors: What's Inside the OHM, Circuit, and Catalyst.
Will let y'all know what it feels like...and if it works for me.
PERFECT!......I have just put in an order for the OHM. I do backpacking on the AT etc...with Hammock and gear....plus the Camino, and other trekking ... I have been using an OSPREY Sirrus, ...tired of it...and going lighter every time.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful responses. I...
Economy ticket...is usually one bag, under seat. So there is a savings.....I feel good having a pack I can just put under the seat....and easily swing into a bus, etc....I am minimalist personality....Do not want to sacrifice my health though.
Reading this over...I see how ridiculous it sounds...
