this sounds good @Mick henro I’ll look this eve. I admit have a preconceived notion that the coast path is very up and down - and I am hoping to be pushing a 4 year old in a 3-wheeler...
Thanks @hughb Thats very helpful about the camping - I have seen there is very few, effective zero, campsites but have read a couple of write-ups where people were camping. I would want to do it in an acceptable way so I didn’t get moved on!
Has anyone done or considered this route? I’m starting to think about a Spring/Summer trip in the UK for about 7-10 days, and this seems very interesting. Plus the sea! 🌊 TIA.

I’m really enjoying your blog, thanks for sharing @TonyC. Just thinking about a UK walk for the (late) Spring and Two Moors Way has caught my eye; but perhaps the North is calling rather than the SW!
Live update: Cafe Bar Noche y Dia may be closed now (not just at this hour...).
The bus stop from Muxía to Santiago is between D’Alvaro restaurant and Es Baleas (pizza, pasta, bar - and jolly good).
I really like Moon travel guides, even as a Brit where they wouldn’t be the usual go-to brand. Will keep an eye out in local book shops. Thanks for the heads up.
How exciting - have a wonderful family Camino. We did the CI last Sept with that type of buggy/tyre, no problems. There was some points when we both pushed uphill but no terrain issues.
There was one night we took a taxi as we couldn’t get private accommodation on the way. And we did short...
Hi everyone, I’m 2 weeks out from my flight to Santiago and am not sure what to do with my 7+2 days.
Do I go with my ‘between stages’ potential route, below? Or start walking from SdC to the coast and walk to both Múxia and Finisterre (I did this in 2015). Or something else - Sarria to SdC and...
Thanks for sharing @JJinWI - the style of your guide is really enabling; a blog feels eminently possible and even appealing after reading!
My previous caminos I also included a digital detox, and I loved just tossing the phone in my bag and leaving it there for a week. But you have me...
Thanks Anamya, sorry for this late reply. I was initally thinking before, but as I've been making a few notes I have a feeling things are going to mix up a bit - so thank you for giving me informed options!
Hi everyone
I’d really appreciate any suggestions of places to stay 5-10km outside Santiago. My thinking is to arrive for morning mass after walking, collect my compostella, have second breakfast and then set off for Negreira.
I read about someone who did this while planning our Ingles trip...
Thank you for this big reminder. With the hub and I each having a very different emotional response to the possible news, I would reiterate staying pragmatic and as unemotional as possible is the way through it.
I’d say I’m very likely a delayed reaction, and so I have a bit longer to see if...
Thank you for the suggestion - we have box skirting boards to hide pipes, and although I’ve still seen no evidence, that’s certainly somewhere they could hide undisturbed.......
