After a wonderful Camino de Santiago I am planning to walk from Florence to Assisi then take transport to Rieti and then walk from Rieti to Rome. Has anyone done this route recently and what is the safety aspect as I will be walking on my own.
Thanks all - I contacted Iberia Airline and they assured me they did the booking to give me sufficient time to get my connection - I can only hope they are correct.
I am leaving Johannesburg on 17th May to Vigo via Madrid - I arrive at Madrid at 6:15 a.m. and my connection to Vigo is at 7:35 - for all the seasoned travellers will I have enough time to make my connection - do I have to collect my baggage and go through customs at Madrid or is my baggage sent...
I really need expert advice - I will be walking from Santiago to Finisterre but want to do it in 4 days - what are the suggested stops for shorter days.
I am 79 and doing my first Camino because I have a new mantra that guides my decisions - if you want to do something badly enough you will find a way - if you don't you will find an excuse - go girl and enjoy every moment - buen camino
I am hoping to walk this route at end of May 2018. As I am walking on my own I would like to know how busy this route would be at this time as I enjoy my own company but I do want to know that there are people about.
I am starting my Camino next month and I am arriving at Vigo airport and need to know the best way to get to Lugo taking cost into consideration. Bus or train and what service. This is my first time in Europe.
