Love your video. Great way to start the day here in the US. Your children is adorable. Quick question. Where was that very first scene in the video? Thanks.

Walked along the water from Porto to Vila do Conte and then the central route to SdC. 10 days of walking and it was fabulous. Took a rest day min-way in Tui and found that city and its surroundings the perfect spot.
I’d suggest that you wait until you have more than 3 days. It’s a beautiful experience and I believe you need more than 3 days to fully experience and appreciate it.
I would spend an extra day in Tui. You have two interesting towns that straddle the border between Portugal and Spain. The Cathedral, although not grand by many European standards is a gem.
As the Thanksgiving holidays begin in the U.S. I grateful for each Peregrino, I met along time The Way and for those who share these sacred paths.
Took this photo at sunset from Capela da Peregrina in Pontevedra
Also regarding the baggage transfer service: We carried the first 100 miles and then after developing some leg issues we used Correos which is run by the Spanish postal service. So worth it. About 6 Euros per day and they took our packs from hotel to hotel. Never an issue
Having wanted to stay in hotels we used the booking.com app. It worked perfectly. Easy to book. Easy to cancel. Reviews at the fingertips. I’d suggest a rest day in Tui. It’s about 1/2. Tui, Spain and it’s neighboring town of Valenca, Portugal are fabulous. We stayed at a small hotel that was...
Savor Porto. So many beautiful things to see and do. If you’re tired of walking the hop-on hop-off buses are a great option. https://city-sightseeing.com/en/79/porto/109/hop-on-hop-off-porto
Walked the central of the Camino Portugues. As we walked in late June this year saw about 15 other Peregrinos each day. I walked with one friend and enjoyed with peacefulness of an uncrowded route. Consider a rest day in Tui. Lots to enjoy on both sides of the Portugal/Spain border.
You might consider walking along the water Vila do Conte from Porto and then walking the central route. It’s a beautiful first day’s walk along the water mostly in boardwalks. Enjoy
