Altra Lone Peak 4 Trail-Running Shoes?

Don't worry about what other people wear on their feet. It is a very personal choice depending on the shape of your feet. I personally am of the traditional ilk and still wear light weight walking boots. But they have always suited my feet, not a blister in over ten years, goodness knows what I...

Is it OK to keep your pack on your top bunk with you?

No it's not allowed. If you have a rucksack liner you could take that up with you.

    Hip Packs

With a well fitting back pack there should be barely, if any weight on the shoulder. It should all be on the hips. Buen Camino

For the Women Only...Walking With DD Breasts

Hi I'm a 34GG. I take normal walking t-shirts/shirts, but not low cut and two underwire bras with me. One in use one in the wash. I put the clean one on after a shower in the evening and wear the next day and wash the other one ready for the next evening. I hope this helps you. Buen Camino x

    Leather walking boots

I walked in lightweight leather Scarpas they were perfect for me. But not necessarily everyone. Make sure they fit your feet well. I don't know where you live but the Cotswold shops in the UK do a very good boot fitting service. Buen Camino

    Insoles for boots

Go to Cotswolds or other reputable outdoor shop in the UK. You can get some very good advice and insoles. Especially at Cotswolds. Pricy but worth it. There is a particular brand of insole the name I think is comfy feet, which are particularly good. Hope you get sorted. Buen Camino!

Conditions for crossings the Pyrenees in 2 days

I think Hat, gloves and long sleeve shirt are essential. If there is a cold wind blowing or its raining you will be happy you got them, even if you end up leaving them somewhere later. At that height on a bad day there is a risk of hypothermia, even in the summer, don't worry about the...

    Somebody help?!

I once suffered from this. My physio daughter told me to stand on the edge of a step/stair and alternate standing on tip toes on each foot stretching your foot as much as possible count to 30. Once you have done this a couple of times on both sides reverse the process pushing down hard on the...

    Sleeping bag

You do need a lightweight waterproof jacket/poncho. You should be able to pick a cheap one up when you get there. It can also double up as a windproof. Buen Camino! and don't worry too much. Things always work out.
