If it was taken with a modern camera, such as a cellphone, It will likely have "location data" embedded into the file. Have a look, it will be there, unless you had "location OFF"
re: "Don't grow up"
YES!!! per Matthew 18:3, ... and {Jesus} said, "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
We should all become/stay more like children!!! in their many innocent ways, but specifically in humility...
We made every Sunday a rest day.... Which was a short distance... "half days", roughly 2 to 8 miles when we were averaging around 15. This truly felt as if we didn't walk at all that day. It was also to make sure we made it to Sunday Mass.
Yes as already mentioned, only the higher elevation Napoleon route is restricted.
The Valcarlos route is not.
AND, actually, if I remember correctly, the Valcarlos route is the original route of the first pilgrims!!!
Thank you for this post, I will try hard to do a better job of exploring the Leon cathedral on my next Camino!!! The one that stuck out to me on my last (first) Camino was the one in Burgos, but that was just From the outside of it.
Blessings to you and yours, buen Camino, -kevin-

Hello, we stayed at the place that my friend chose. It was very nice!!! The evening meal served there was fantastic!!!
Nearly all places were within walking distance, as was this one.
Soeurs de L' Amour de Dieu [Sisters of the Love of God], Address = 17 Rue de Bagneres...
I 100% agree with what another pilgrim told me, is that it's really not a camino/pilgrimage unless you do it solo. Since then, for me, I have modified it... If you have not actually "lived with" the other person for the last year or preferrably more, don't plan on walking the whole Camino...
I made up my "stone"... A couple months ago. Found some railroad spikes while doing some practice/training hikes along an abandoned railroad line. I saved them for my stone/burden, because they reminded me of the nails of Jesus. I then got some VERY old barb wire from our original family ranch...

Another person suggested that we stay at this place:

Thank you All for all of the great advice!!! As always the people of this community are so very helpful and knowledgeable. I have changed and reduced my pack contents because of all of you!!! Even better than that, I have reduced worries / increased confidence for my first Camino!!! You all are...
That would be awesome, I hope we do!!!
As neither of us have done this before, we have no idea whether we'll be walking faster or slower than the other people.
Hello Trevorcc, I asked a similar question on another thread.
Others suggested to me to check out: https://weatherspark.com/
I did and was impressed. They give great averages for typical temperatures and likelihood of precipitation, based on previous years of data.
Another good source for...
