Tips as I'm sure many will tell, to go without expectations, let the Camino guide you and live and enjoy the moments. I went to my previous Caminos with a group of friends and the last one (the Camino Frances) by myself. Going alone was by far my best experience ever as it gave me the...
I travelled alone to SJPdP to what I thought was going to be my solo journey, however from Day 1 found a wonderful family who welcomed me with open arms, we've looked for each other, cared for each other, shared lots of stories and experiences together.

Thanks Susan.
I intend to start walking on 1st April as will be arriving in SJPdP late in the day, however if the Napoleon route will still be closed on 1st April will take the Valcarlos :)

Following this thread with interest. I will be walking from SJPdP to Roncevalles on 31st March. Due to time constraints to do the whole journey I can't afford to stay in Valcarlos.
My concern is that I'll be taking the Corazon Puro option so my understanding is that I should arrive in SJPdP...
