The 300km from C. Rodrigo to Ponte de Lima were hard, I had Sun,rain and thunder/ligthning and from 25-40*c.
In a way it was a releaf to arrive in Ponte de Lima and meet other pilgrims, from there it was Caminho Portugues Central the next...

And I do have some concern about the Gps-tracks; some - most- of them is automatically shortened as they are downloaded to my GPS.:mad:

I also think we will have credencials from Portugal, we will buy them in Sé Cathedral in Porto.
We will pick them up a few days before the travel to Ferrol.

I have used Brierleys guide for Camino Portugues and found it very usefull. Have now done it 5 times in different ways and know the Way well but sometimes I still need some extra Info and get it from the guide. That could be any guide but I like the brierley guide. Especialy the detours he...

I like that it joins the Caminho Portugues, I know the part from Tamel very Well:), but am a little concerned about the Albergues until then. If there are any.

I did it all wrong, tryed to open the file immidiatly,but now I can.
One question thou: All the albergues and the route where can I find And print out?
I'm trying the "new" Caminho Portugues Interior and end up in Verin.
I dont carry a smart phone so I have to relay on paper...

I am glad to see that the Lamego Way soon is coming to life.

I have walked from Porto twice, once the normal route and also to Vila Do Conde and then to Rates. So I would like to try a other route ( not pasing Porto) and just recived the latest edition of Brierley's guide that had some options - one being The Lamego Way...
I'm sitting and planing next years camino and saw that there should be a way from Coimbra to Chaves and then on to Via de la Plata ( from the Brierly guide - 2011 edition ).
Any suggestions to rute, maps, albergues?

I am also walking Del Norte from the 2.july from Santander. I plan to take the coastel route and join the french in Arzua.
I also bought the two books by Eric Walker - haven't read them yet though.
I have also heard from the germans I have meet other years ( camino portuguese) that "outdoor"...
