It is the very reason for my starting this thread yesterday. I went to the Tourism Office first and they sent me to the Sanctuary instead. That is why I'm relaying the information. Of course, the Tourism Office is on the way, anyway. So ask there first I guess.
I'm currently in Sahagun and I was told to go and get the halfway Compostela at the Santuario de la Peregrina when I was at the Tourism Office.
