I love cafe con letche, but just got a new medical diagnosis and I am not supposed to have caffeine. I’m drinking decaf at home and it works just fine. Will be walking the Camino Ingles and Camino Finisterre next month . Does anyone know if decaffanated coffee is available in cafes along the...
We also stayed in the private room at the Poets Inn with an amazing view of the Porto Cathedral. Loved this place with its literary vibe and super location.
Thanks for the info. We have already planned on breaking up the first section stopping in Fene and Miño. We will also be stopping for the night in Presido.
I plan on walking the Camino Ingles in May with several friends. Distance is not important to me, however I am concerned about this section for my friends. Guides and tour companies all claim different distances between these two towns. Does anyone have a actual distance between them.
My husband and I walked the Fisherman Trail in 2015. He does not do well with heights, but had no problems and never felt we were too close to the edge.
Four of us will be walking this route in June. We plan to stay around Finieyrols on June 11th which is also my birthday. It appears the lodging options are La Rose de L’ Aubrac or Gite Les Gentianes. They both get very mixed reviews. Anyone on this forum have experience with either one of them...
I am hoping to walk the LePuy Route next June from LePuy to Conques or Figeac after a visit with my daughter in Denmark. I will be staying in Copenhagen the month of May and would like to return to the US from Paris instead of going all the way back back to Copenhagen to pick up extra luggage...
Wow...this question certainly started a fierce discussion. I do carry a duffle in case TSA will not let them on, but I have never had a problem at any of the departing cities in the US. I most recently hiked in Germany and had no problem in getting them on in both Denmark and Germany. When I...
I will be hiking from Porto to Santiago in September. I know poles are not allowed on the plane in Santiago, but does anyone know if I can get them in the cabin at Madrid airport. After arriving from the US where they are allowed and clearing customs etc., we are flying TAP from Madrid to Porto.
My husband also has vertigo, but was not bothered by the cliffs, maybe due to the beauty of the walk. Would love to hear about your adventure and what stops you will be making, on the Fisherman or Historical route.
