I am hoping to start the Portugues from Porto in mid September. Looking to walk through to Finisterre. Are most services available through the end of September, first of October? Weather ok? Many pilgrims? Thanks!
I took my poles to the Orlando airport TSA, a couple of days before heading to Spain, and asked if I could bring on board. They said yes. I simply put them in backpack and brought as carry on.
Go to the Pilgram Office. They will send you to, or suggest a doctor or a hospital emergency room. I just finished FW. I Leon a friend needed Dr. That's what he did. The hospital treated the issue and didn't charge him. Don't know if that is normal. He was very happy and touched
Tommorow I hit Sarria. I normally have reservations, but none available, so far, nothing is available. Anyone pass that way recently? Are there beds available? Thanks?
I am just outside Sahagun. Upto now no problem finding a bed. Wow has that changed. Everthing full. Had to book 47K ahead for tonight. Going to have to cab about 20k of that. I can't do 47 in a day. My question is, What does it look like after Sarria. I am considering taking the In Invieno...

I start my first Camino from SJDP on April 21st. I have a Camino patch for my backpack. Normally I add patches to my pack after I do something, but am thinking of adding this one before the journey. Think this would be premature or disrespectful?
This will be my first Camino. Part of wanting to do the Camino is meeting other Pilgrims. The Frances will give me a better opportunity to do that. At the same time, don't want the super crowds after Sarria. Guess i want my cake and eat it too!
I appreciate your perspective. Right now, my...
I will start from SJPP on April 21st. I am not really wanting to stay on the French Way, at least from Sarria to Santiago. I would rather switch to Norte somewhere along The Way. Any suggestions on a good plan to do this?
Hi, I am Crandall May. My original start day from St. Jean was April 21st 2020. Covid changed those plans. Just booked my first night stay on the Camino, at Orisson, for April 21st 2022. I am counting the days and praying for a healthy world!
