    We stayed at Le Chemin Vers L'Etoile for 3 days before starting. Host Eric was SUPERB.

    Your favorite lodging in Burgos?

    Happy Hostal Carrales. Great location, quiet, clean. When I asked the manager, "Why 'Happy?'" his response was an endearing flustered "Well. . . . Well, because . . . Why not?" with a smile. We did our COVID recovery here, and the staff were wonderful.
