Silk versus merino base layers
Hi I've noticed that silk long johns and t shirts/vests are cheaper than the icebreaker equivalents. Does anyone have any experience of them? Are they equivalent in performance?- antelope

Temperature and pace - questions
Hi I'm intending to walk from St Jean to Santiago starting sometime shortly after mid April. I read widely that it's a good thing to walk at one's own pace. Certainly I'm unfit, and anyway I want to walk and ponder and enjoy where I am rather than rush. But I don't see how this aoproach is...- antelope
