Thanks! I didn't see this when I made my last post. Very good to know. Now I will just look into sending it straight to NY... but if it's far more expensive than I will certainly go through Pension Badalada.- azeevy

Sending my luggage from Switzerland/France to New York, or from Switzerland/France to Santiago and picking it up there before heading to NY?
