Rick! I got your message but the site wouldn't let me reply!!!! My Camino was fantastic! Loved it! Send me an email @ pembertonvalleyvineyard@ gmail.com. Then will send you a proper email :)
My new down sleeping bag gave me comfort...... Gorgeous color and very cozy. The birds in the early mornings, those giant chocolate bars with almonds, and those terrible/delicious cookies with the chocolate filling, we're all amazing as well :)!
Depending on traffic!!!!!!!!!!! Gulp! You may just make it! :). Would love to hear the outcome! It seemed to take hours on a bus from Victoria Station to Stanstead for me :). Ended up making my flight though..... !!
Hi there, was having trouble starting a new topic do am tagging on here. Just finished the St Jean to Santiago two days ago and have decided to walk on to Finisterre and Muxia leaving tomorrow morning. Now am sitting in hotel room freaking out. Where do I start and is it well marked...
Pergrina2000. The bar/Albergue is still open :). I stayed there on May 12 th and really enjoyed it! Dinner was great and the garden relaxing. Loved my room too!!
If it were me I would arrive in SJPP tomorrow morning, hang out a bit and then walk to Orrison which will only take you a few hours. Le Chemin D'Esprit will be asleep by the time you get there :). I stayed there May 10th and walked to Roncevalles the next day. Buen Camino!!!!
I am having a problem with blisters as well:). Am on the Camino right now in Burgos. Have blisters on both feet, around and behind big toe. Am wearing Solaman ( sp) shoes Have tried Vaseline, sock liners etc. my pack is fairly light 7 kgs. Just sort of grinning and sort of bearing it!
Funny, I stopped drinking coffee 7 years ago, but reading the forum for the last few months I have decided to start again once I hit Spain. Those cafe con leches sound wonderful :) ! I am flying out tomorrow, to start from SJPP on the 11 th!
