Has anyone ever walked principally at night?

Morgan, I am intrigued by your post, and I am relieved to hear of your explanation. Please understand that getting all the information would allow us to give you the best answer. Do I need gloves if I am using a Trekking Pole

I had never thought about using gloves until I started getting blisters or calluses in the webbing between my thumb and forefinger when using my poles. Since I work out and lift weights, I acquired a pair of padded fingerless gloves and thought I would try them out with my poles. The gloves...

    I'll Push You

I saw this movie with my fellow Chicago area peregrinos at the theater when it came out. I loved the story, and had been in touch with Patrick several times before we viewed the film. My only criticism -- and a small one at that -- was that the film appeared to be captured from either a body...

    Sleeping bag/blanket

I, too, debated bringing a sleeping bag, and I'm glad I did. I brought a light sleeping bag that folded up to the size of a football and took up very little room in my pack. If I didn't need it, it doubled as a neck or foot rest. My vote is find the smallest one you can and bring it.

Meeting Justin & Patrick, "I'll Push You" this morning

I saw this movie with 13 people of our local Camino chapter; we all loved it. I thought the best part is when several fellow pilgrim's waited for the two and said they had planned to wait and help. The only thing I didn't like was the shaky photography, as if someone was wearing a body camera...

    Pokemon stops on the Camino?

I think the game does let you talk to other people. Last week I sat on the steps of a campground store and talked about the game to about 10 people who were playing, between the ages of 11 and 70. When I leveled up to 5, they all cheered me on and urged me to join their team. I will admit...
