Couldn't say it better myself SY. On my first camino, i started with 14 kilo, throw a lot in the bin in Ciraqui, so I got down to the 9 kilo, fitting my weight of 95. This year I got a little (but very nice problem), my diet has worked so now I'm 78 kilo, and will try to get a backpack < 8 kilo...- Uska69

Hi Taisce! From my experience, there is no chance to get a singleroom in the first 4 days. Perhaps in Burguete there is the famous hotel, Hemingway used to stay in. Then from Pamplona to Burgos you can get hotelroom, which is really cheap in Spain. Right now I found rooms both in Pamplona and...- Uska69

I'm starting from SJPP the first of july, will land in Biarritz/Bayonne the 30th and stay in Bayonne over the night and take the morning train to SJPP.
