I'm starting from SJPP the first of july, will land in Biarritz/Bayonne the 30th and stay in Bayonne over the night and take the morning train to SJPP.
Will take it slow; one day to Orrisson, and the second to Roncevalles. The third day to Larrasoana. Those three places has a special place in my heart, and from there, I'll just walk as far as I want to.
I've done the camino two times before, so if anybody wants to ask me something, feel free.

Hi - wondering if you have recommendations for a place to stay in SJPP, Orrisson and Roncevalles. My friend wants her own room so we might not be able to stay in hostels. I'm a light sleeper, so wouldn't mind my own room too. Anywhere reasonable with single rooms? Or is it just not an option on the camino? :)

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Hi Taisce!
From my experience, there is no chance to get a singleroom in the first 4 days. Perhaps in Burguete there is the famous hotel, Hemingway used to stay in.
Then from Pamplona to Burgos you can get hotelroom, which is really cheap in Spain. Right now I found rooms both in Pamplona and Sarria for under 30€.
Then during the meseta Burgos-Leon, it will also be difficult.
Perhaps anyone else have some tip?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
