You may need more than a credencial to walk the camino

From what I've read today on CBC - if the ruling continues and visa's are required there will be a grace period over the summer and changes won't come into affect for 6 or 9 months after that. It sounds like things would be moving slowly and won't happen this year. I'm not that politically savvy...

    Class of 2016

Unfortunately, my plans for a 2016 Camino has been put on hold. I hope to reorganize myself in the next year or two.

    Photographing along the WAY

I've been curious about what camera's people bring. I had planned to take my Canon Rebel DSL but it is five years old and heavy. Thankfully i've never had enough cash on me to buy any extra lenses to worry about. I'm now debating on buying a newer smaller camera like a Canon PowerShot that still...

    Class of 2016

This is a great thread! Love reading everyone's replies. That should give me plenty of time to save up, train and buy all the equipment and items I need...

When did you first become 'camino conscious'?

For me it was watching the documentary "Walking the Camino: 6 Ways to Santiago" back in January of this year (2015) with my dad. Coming out of the theatre I was really inspired to walk the camino. I don't think my dad was planning that sort of reaction from me, but i've been reading up...

Great post, had this question myself. I'm thinking of taking with my a pair of yoga pants and a tank top to lounge around in and sleep in. Thanks!

    Kitchener/Waterloo Pilgrims?

Hello everyone! I'm from the Kitchener/Waterloo (Canada) area. I'm planning on walking the Camino September/October 2016. I'm looking forward to connecting with past and future pilgrims to help prepare me for what lies ahead. I saw there have been some past information meetings on the Camino...

Thinking of writing a book about your camino?

Hey! Great discussion. I'm still in the planning stages of my camino and had original thought of writing my experiences down as a book. But it was mentioned multiple times and what I realized is that there are a lot of books already depicting other personal experiences along the Way. I may still...
