Thanks David. I’ve just started to look at the new version of the Lightfoot Guide which arrived yesterday. I’ve been using the maps.me trace and checking on Google Maps Street View. The latter is probably out of date coming into the Nature Reserve near to Rome. There seems to be a house...

    Coastal route in August!

We used both Luis Freixo’s superb maps and the maps.me app. Once you have maps.me you can download the route from this website. Never will you feel uncomfortably misplaced ever again! Bom Caminho!

👋 Introduce yourself or register your start date

Totally agree with ‘jungleboy’ and ‘trecile’ above. I think the calendar was easier to understand before it was updated. Maybe if a person wants to enter an end date, could it be put in with the further details of their Camino when you click on the entry? Do you think this might work?

What do I need to know to get by?

Hi. I agree very much with the comments above about people in Portugal and Spain wanting to improve their English. We’ve had to really persuade some folk to speak in their own language and help us improve our foreign language skills! For my husband and I, speaking the language of the country...

What do I need to know to get by?

I've been learning Portuguese using the Memorise app, as it teaches your the language of Portugal. From memory I think the Duo Lingo app may only be Brazilian Portuguese. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!
