We are leaving on April 26th going from Leon to Santiago. Any suggestions as to what to prepare for weather wise? Crowd wise? Stopping points etc. Any tips/information would be greatly appreciated.
I know this is a big topic but I am looking for backpack recommendations. How big of a pack do you need? We will be going from Leon to Santiago. Hoping to find a comfortable women's pack. One more thing: typically how many pounds does one carry if you include a lightweight sleeping bag? Thanks!
Any comments on whether hiking boots are necessary? We would be walking from Leon to Santiago in late April/early May. Seems like with the variety of running/trail type tennis shoes those may be more comfortable in the long run. Any thoughts?
Is carry a sleeping bag necessary on the route from Leon to Santiago? Any packing tips would be most appreciated. Along with any recommended places to stay.
I am wanting to walk from Leon to Santiago. Is it possible to do in 2 weeks? Or is that pushing it? And does anyone know how crowded the route is in late April/early May?
