3 days and a wonderful 25km
---
I completed my mission leaving Matsohinos on Thursday and arrived in Santiago Sunday about 12.30
A brilliant 3 days and a wonderful ending strolling last few miles..
The coastal path I met about 10 people on day 1 ...much to discuss ..later
Thank you all for your...
Made it
With stories !
3 days running plus a final 20k walk Sunday morning ...it's funny the greatest minutes occurred at my most pained.
Will maybe post a little more later...my Achilles is interrupting my sleep ..a hazard of doing silly runs lol
Well I made it to Matsohinos so that's a start ...metro so easy even I couldn't get lost..plane late..so might get supplies a little later on route tomorrow ...
Popped into St.James church and got my passport and lots of help... pretty much decided to stick to coast (I think ) Start Thursday morning
The only thing I don't really know is where to stay... first day I'm aiming to keep moving for as long as I can.. so fingers crossed I should pick...
Thank you for your time , I finally have some time to look.I must confess I did know nothing of Camino,I am a runner mainly so I was quite dazzled by so much choice...I really just want to explore.Last year I ran the Canal du Midi over 3 days (about 150 miles)..I have three days free and will be...
I'm going to start from the airport(Porto) ... is the notion of keeping the coast on left too simplistic... if I have time it would be great to hit Santiago
Will locals acknowledge this as Camino if I needed directions...or would I get directed to other parts ... thanks
I'm hoping to run some of the way .... I may start from airport... planning has been badly interrupted so cramming via this site ATM ... sea to left and keep going
Yeah that looks what I am after,I am exploring but running too...I ran the canal du midi last year and found just getting away from it all for a few days way better than any race...so I will use your towns as my road map...Im not too worried about where I end up...It loks spectacular in most...
Thankyou.
I will take a look, really looking forward to it.I have no plan but that kind of is the point for me for now,so great to see so much information.
I was hoping to run along coastal path and return for a holiday too... is it easy to navigate from airport to path? Would I lose anything by leaving out first few miles from Porto ...
It sounds like it might be easy to lose your way ...
Thanks
