You won't need a guidebook for Cinque Terre, but along with others on this forum, I recommend the Rick Steves book for Italy. He gives a lot of great hints for things to do, places to see, and where to eat.

Hi Everyone,
I am in very good health and looking forward to hiking Camino Frances in 2023. There is only one medication that I take, and it has to be refrigerated. I only need it every 15 days, so I hate to carry a refrigerated container with me.
Does anyone know if there is a way that I could...
Hi All,
My wife and I are planning on starting in Caminah, Portugal in mid-June. Unfortunately, she broke her foot this week and won't have the cast removed until just before we fly to Portugal. She is very fit, but we think that she won't be able to do much walking when we start our Camino...
Thanks to all for your input.

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can give some good advice on purchasing a phone sim card for European use. I will need to purchase it in Porto, so what is the best place to purchase a sim card in that town?
Thanks!
Thanks, and that's why I asked. I did not know that Porto has an airport.
I am also considering that local/regional airports can be more costly to use compared to national/international airports. Would it be better to fly into Lisbon and take a train or bus to Porto?
My wife and I are planning to hike the Portuguese Costal route next year. I need advice on which airport(s) would be best to Lisbon from USA, and from Santiago to USA. Thanks!
