I walked the Frances in 2016.
I walked the Frances in . I've made Tortilla almost weekly since. The 3 keys, the right pan, lots of good olive oil and more sea salt than you think.
when I did my first in 2016 one year after my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis no one could understand my WHY. One week after my return home dislocating my hips waterskiing. Since my 2016 Camino I’ve had 2 Lipedema surgeries, MOH surgery where a cancerous tumour was removed from my face, I’ve been...
Lower bunks for not just elderly ( I don’t like that label )
Age is just a number....one can act more elderly at 20 then others do at 80. ❤
I walked in 2016 at 52. One year after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Suffering from terrible pain and weakness issues. I’d ask often but was...
You really don’t need coffee packets. Even the smallest of stops will serve you the best coffee. My morning reward was that first spot I came to for my coffee , orange juice and tortilla. I never knew when it would occur....beautiful Memories
Thank you
And yes I have been following you.
The biggest thing in all this is to not give up...stay strong and surround yourself with those that love and support you.

Knew what John and I had was special...this past two years has just made us stronger.

In home physio came yesterday. She's seen me through most of my replacements including the last hip.
She could see and feel my frustration. I'm still requiring help to get my legs on the bed and couch.
She reminded me that while yes I've had two hip...
My poor physiotherapist lives in stress with me. He’s says most of his post replacement patients have to be encouraged to exercise and keep moving. He says with me it’s a battle to hold me back. This ones going a little different then the last hip replaced July 2018. Now it’s only 5 days out...
It’s done.
My left hip was replaced yesterday at 1 pm.
That’s two new hips and two new knees in 13 months.
I’ve been cleared by the Surgeon and Physio to go home.
Now I just wait on the Nursing dept. to catch up....lots of discharges today.
I had my right hip replaced in July 2018. Both knees Feb/18 and Nov/18. Limitations on hip replacements issued by surgeons are for a longer period and more extensive ( at least here in Ontario Canada). Yet I found that my hip healed faster with far less pain....to the point I’d forget and do...
I purchased this one from Amazon it came invisible framed. My husband makes my progress while I was walking to allow our 5 children and 6 grandchildren to follow my progress.
The poppies inspired me. They appear so fragile on their delicate stems and equally delicate petals. Yet they’d continue to stand proudly during the extream heat as well as the strong rain and wind. When I’d feel tired or in pain I’d spot one and stand straighter....and walk stronger.
