Publishing pictures posted on this site

Did he? I've been reading this several times wondering if I missed the "not". I would much happier if there was a clear Not there. :) "You may edit, adapt, or change any such images."

Publishing pictures posted on this site

Well how about this: The photos posted on this site belongs to the photographer. You are allowed to download them to your computer, to watch them there. But you are not allowed to publish or alter these photos without permission from the photographer.

I have objections to that. :) To download them, that's ok, I think. To change the photos, no. To publish them without my permission, no. It could be photos of me or people I met on the camino and I would not like to see these changed and published some where else. What if someone takes a photo...

I have asked Ivar to write something in reply to your question, who owns the photos uploaded to the image gallery. I googled and found an article about this topic which I think was interesting: http://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2013/nov/26/news-photography-medialaw

How to be more like koilife in the kitchen

:D!!! Actually I suspect the only kitchen you will see on our camino will be the electric coil and a mug. Unless there is somewhere to cook in the casa rural we will pass. That would be fun. I remember there was a great kitchen in the casa rural in Pajares, I saw it on Gunnars film. But there...

    Donativo: A Dead Idea?

Actually I've been thinking about splitting the thread. :) I will do it right now. Update: ok now I have moved it. And the new thread title as suggested by Reb..

    Where did you walk today?

Thank you, well actually I didn't merge them, as there are so many pictures in them, so it would be difficult to load. But I tagged them as "local walks", which makes it easier to find also Sabines thread with lots of great local walks pics. :)

    Where did you walk today?

That's a great idea. :) Ok today I didn't take any pics, but yesterday I did. I was out walking in Garphyttans National park. Looks good at the beginning... Then one continues in to the woods. Ok the trail was a bit wet sometimes, as the snow is melting. My feet. :)

It is coming soon Pancake Day 2014 is Tuesday March 4.

Hi, No, no jam, but there is almond paste inside, under the cream. That's even better. :)

In Sweden it's not pancake day. We eat semlor instead. :) Here's a pic of a semla:

    ian holdworth

I also got it. But an hour later, I got an email from the real Ian, who said the email was a scam and that we should ignore it.

Radio Buen Camino now on El Salvador -PART 21

Thanks Gunnar, that was great. :) I watched it too, now. You were lucky as you got butterflies instead of the flying bugs everywhere. Am looking forward to the next one.

    GPS vs. phone vs. camera

Okay, will do. We don't want it full of scratches.:)

    GPS vs. phone vs. camera

Thank you Gunnar, that was good to know. :) Laurie and I talked about what Garmin to get, and I thought the Dakota with its touch screen looked better and more fun (maybe easier if you are used to a touch screen already). Lauries friend will have to make it ready for the trip, putting the maps...

    GPS vs. phone vs. camera

Otto, who I walked with on the Salvador, had one with him. It's was fun. He stopped often and told me how many m the mountains were, and such things. I was thinking how lucky I am to walk with someone who got a GPS. Now I will do it again. :)

    GPS vs. phone vs. camera

Thanks newfydog. :) We also like to make a GPS track of the route which we can put here on the forum when we come back. I will have to figure out how to do that before I get to Bilbao, where Laurie and the Dakota 20 will be waiting for me. I've never used one of these before. I watched a few...

    Happy Birthday!!:)

    Icebreaker/synthetic clothing and bedbugs

:) I think it sounds difficult, that's why I left my merino things at home. From what I've been reading you need to wash them in 50c to get rid of the eggs, and the tag in the clothes says max 40c. But you can also put them in the freezer as wayfarer says. I've heard you got to let them stay in...
