It's a bit early in the day for a religious discussion, but i'll respond to the above statement.
I'm an atheïst. Not only me but my entire family going back 3 generations has been. So why do I do the Camino? And not once but 4 different routes so far...
Because it's a very cheap holiday in...
well it is a fact that the daily necessities (food, toiletpaper, coffee and the like) are more expensive when you do your shopping on the Frances route compared to shops 5km away from the route.
Also the amount of walkingsticks, shells and other assorted souvenirs you can buy on the way has...
Yes you're doing a great job Ivar. Giving us a place to find and share information without asking for anything in return. Kudos!
I for sure would've been in a lot more pain during my caminos if i hadn't found this place with all it's hints and tips :)

thank you :)
It's not at all what I had originally planned, and too a lot of people it might seem downright silly, but the two journeys will be completely different from each other....and not only because they're different routes
The first I will be alone for 1000km walking close to...
As some of you might have read on the Via De Plata subforum, I'm leaving the 23 rd of April to walk from Seville to Santiago by my lonesome.
I will be home around the 5th of June, home for about 4 weeks and then I leave again on the 2nd July, this time to Pied De Port and with 3 friends with...
I'm leaving with 3 friends from Pied De Port 3rd of July. We're all 26 yrs old.
This is our anniversary journey :) The four of us did this trip exactly 10years ago and we always said we would do it again 10yrs later. And now it looks like it might actually happen.
