That's a pretty good list, impressive! Here's mine: prescriptions glasses, fleece jacket, hat, hand painted camino t-shirt, rain parka, poles twice, many, many water bottles, yep I think yours is longer. But once I lost my prescription glasses, none of the other stuff really mattered!🤓
The up side is the crowds will be gone! I just did that same route in September in 9 days. It was extremely crowded especially on the weekend. Each region is different and Galicia is as well! I hope you can enjoy it! ❤️
I have been wondering since I walked the Frances last fall about this. Along the road outside of El Burgo Ranero there are crocheted afghans wrapped around the trees, several trees. Does anyone know why they are there?
An apple air tag is handy if you plan to have your bag transported. Then you can carry a small pack with essentials and valuables with you. And you know exactly where your big pack is and you can follow it on your phone to your destination. I was really glad I had that air tag!
Thank you! I guess I wasn't looking at the right app. I was ticked at Booking for charging me for a night I didn't make it to the booking. I gave them 23 hours notice just under the cutoff. I think next year I will fly into Barcelona!

It is an airline issue pillow. I got it when they used to hand them out on flights. I'm with you on those horseshoe shape pillows. They are too hard to do any good around my neck or under my head. I have one I only used once! I just packed and my pack is at 13 pounds. No room for extra weight...
You have convinced me to take the airline pillow I have which sounds so much like your camping pillow! It's just fluff and weighs nothing. I have plenty of room in my pack since I'm keeping my overall weight down. Thanks for your post!
Hi! I will be starting my first Camino in Pamplona in late September and plan on staying in the albergues. I find I can't sleep without at least one pillow. Are pillows provided? Should I pack a pillowcase?
