Covent Garden, one of my favorite hostels, directly on Camino as you go through town, across from Gaudis Bontine, close to Cathedral and the host goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Great facilities, sheets and towels! full kitchen and massage available on 2nd floor😊
Last time I walked I stayed in Fromista then was sorry I didnt continue a little further to Albergue La Finca. I’m planning my next camino in April thought I would stay there this time, however their website says “closed permanently” ☹️ Does anyone know if that is true? Thanks Dee
I did my 1st Camino April 2018 never called ahead for a bed. My 2nd was Sept.2019 needed to call ahead it was much busier. Camino #3 will be April 23rd (after Easter) with reservations in Santiago May 26th for Ascension Day, a huge party with dancing, music, fair at Alameda Park and Friday night...
On my Camino in 2018 I stayed at Alb. Paloma y Lena in San Mamed 4 kms before Sarria. Quiet, wonderful Communal dinner, typical breakfast and you’re 4 kms behind the Sarria group in the morning😊

I couldnt agree more. They also have communal dinner for a fair price and a really nice free breakfast. Lots of clothes washing sinks and clothesline, they even has clothespins!!
