    Surprising myself!

    My husband mainly did it because I wanted to. He enjoyed it but there are other things he'd rather spend 45 days on! I did miss my grandson and family terribly so I think I'd be just as happy with a shorter camino. Maybe the Ingles? 🙂

    When we were walking in July this past summer, there was a bad heat wave and we felt it prudent to take a bus on 2 different days for 10 minutes to shave off some miles and prevent any ill effects from the heat. So sorry about this pilgrim and for his family. 😪

    We stopped into this man's shop today! I needed a new daybag as the one I am using is falling apart. I indicated what I wanted and he rummaged around a few places and found a perfect lightweight Altus day bag that folds onto its own pocket! What a delightful stop on our camino!

    Thank you for this encouraging post! How wonderful that your husband could do the walk so soon after being in a coma! I am hoping this vertigo will be resolved by July 7th.     Thanks for the info. No eye twitching. The ENT has me going to PT tomorrow for a test for the positional vertigo and if positive, they have head maneuvers to try and dislodge any calcium deposits that may have drifted into the wrong ear canal causing the dizziness. Hopefully this can be resolved...

    Another update....daughter is still doing better. Went to PT and has some exercises she is doing. Getting around a little better. Her mother-in-law has been picking up my grandson from daycare and providing some meals for them and helping with bath and bedtime in the evenings. I am so grateful...
