Walking at night
If you are going to walk at night, it would be very helpful to have a head lamp and flashlight or your phone because it is entirely possible to miss the yellow markers especially in areas where the markers are on the streets or when the markers offer alternative paths or none come up for awhile...- Kent Davis

Starting Oct 3rd in Burgos
Burgos is a great place to start, I went through there around Oct 3 last year. You will be able to get 6-7 days of walking that will help get you ready for a bit tougher and more hilly section later in your trip.- Kent Davis

loosing my confidence
I am terribly sorry for your losses. The walk will help you greatly and 20k is a very reasonable goal. You may find two weeks is not enough for what you are coping with; you should just walk until you are in a better place; maybe set aside the work commitments for a bit longer.- Kent Davis
