That would be great! We're getting pretty excited about our upcoming adventure. The time is flying by, though everything seems to be falling into place. We've been on several long hikes (25k) with our full backpacks and no major surprises (I expected to be sore the next day and sure enough...)...
There is a good list of those starting in May in the thread:

Buen Camino
Joodle: I saw your earlier thread regarding whether to walk the Camino or not. Glad to see you decided to go. My wife and I are both turning 60 this year (me in April and my wife in June) and it seemed like a good way to celebrate. We now have most our gear and are looking forward to the...
My wife and I (59 and 60) are also walking the Way during May-June, starting May 13th. Less than 18 weeks to go!! Good luck with your planning and enjoy. Buen Camino.
P.S. You may be interested in this thread tracking start dates and locations for other pilgrims departing in April through June...
Hi
Alwyn:
As I recall, you need to post a new thread (I posted mine under pilgrim introductions). Once you do that, there will be a drop down tool in the top right hand corner of your posted thread that will allow you to add to the calendar. You might want to look at the thread...
Amy:
My wife and I will be 5 days ahead of you, but we'll be taking our time, so we may see you along the way. Adding your name to the calendar is a great idea. There is also the thread https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/may-june-2016-peregrinos-camino-frances.36410/ providing...
Otti:
My wife and I will just be a day ahead of you. We plan on taking it slowly, so you're likely to pass us along the way. You might want to know about the thread
"May/June 2016 Peregrinos - Camino France"...
Dan: My wife and I now have our tickets set (from Detroit to Paris) leaving on May 10 as well. Perhaps we'll see you along the way. Enjoy obsessing over gear. The planning has certainly been part of the fun for me and this forum is such a great resource.
Joe
I've been hanging around the forum for almost a year and a half now. It's time to officially log into the calendar. My wife and I (Mary and Joe) plan to start our CF on May 13th from St. Jean, allowing ourselves just over five weeks to make it to Santiago. We already have much of our gear...
This appears to be a second class of 2016 thread. Another, with a long list of respondents can be found at

We're currently planning on starting out on May 10 (less than a year away now) out of SJPdP, stopping in Orrison the first night. We expect to take the first few days slowly (breaking in our 60 year-old legs) but arriving in SdC in 35 days overall. Perhaps we will cross paths along the Way.
Welcome to the class of 2016. Sorry to hear of your loss. Hopefully the Camino will give you an opportunity to heal. There is a great deal to learn from those who have already traveled the Way.
Hi Beth:
I am also looking forward to walking the Camino in 2016 (in May) and have had similar reactions from those I have told of my plans. I've tended to keep my plans more private for now and use this wonderful forum to help with my plans. I do, however, often find myself wanting to just talk...
I'm going to jump in as well. We had thought of waiting until 2019, when I retire. I just don't think I can wait that long. My wife and I both turn 60 in 2016, so a mid-May start from Saint Jean Pied de Port seems like a good way to celebrate.
Joe
Elisa: My wife and I have been planning to do the CF in the fall of 2019 (the year I anticipate retiring), but I've started to think of pushing this up to the spring of 2016, when we both turn 60. I just need to convince my wife . So we may be joining the class if 2016....too early to tell for...
Keith and Larry: Thank you both for your replies. Part of the problem for me is finding the time and part of the problem is that my wife and I love to travel...with a rather long list of places we want to go (and will probably never exhaust). We tend not to return to destinations, which is why...
I've been following the forum for quite sometime, but only recently joined. I am drawn to walking the Camino, but am too tethered to my work and other commitments to break free for any length of time any time soon - sigh. My wife and I plan to walk the Camino Frances when I retire in five years...
