    On my pack the hose exit is at the top of the pack. It would be impossible to mount the bladder with the hose on the bottom and still be long enough to exit the top hose opening of the pack. Both of my packs are like this. The hose comes out at shoulder level.

    Seriously? If you don't suck on mine it doesn't move. If you mount it right the hose is at the top of the bag. I guess if you put pressure on it the water might flow :shock: But it shouldn't travel up the hose on it's own.

    Assuming your pack has a place for the bladder and hose then it's all fairly easy. They tend to have big filler spouts. Then the hose to suck on.

    For those willing to live with the weight/cost I think all the Nikon add on grips take AA batteries. OTOH between the grip and camera body you can have 2 or 3 camera batteries (I don't mean the AA) . That's a lot of photos.

    45litres?? Can't be. Maybe the whole backpack is 45litres? You don't need to fill a bladder full. The advantages of the bladders are you can sip /suck on it hands free. They tend to be weight balanced. How much do things like that matter? Kind of depends.

    Wifi in Aubergues??

    If you're device can handle it you're likely best off getting a Spanish SIM card. Glancing at the Vodafone website they have an offer for about €15. 1GB of data. Plus 60min voice and SMS. For a month I'm guessing that would be enough for the average person. It's not like emails are that big.
