Flying from Vancouver - better to fly Paris to Biarritz or take the train?
HI, I live in BC and have done the Frances twice. Both times I took KLM Vancouver to Amsterdam, and from there flew to Bayonne. Overnighted in Bayonne for two nights to get over the jet lag, then train ( or bus) up to SJDPP. Bayonne is an interesting little city, nice place to get...- Plataman

Walking Hendaye to Irún
HI, yes, the walk from Irun to Hendaye is easy walk, short and very pleasant...and there is a bridge! I walked it after spending a few days decompressing in Irun after completing a Camino.....caught the bus in Hendaye to Bayonne, flew out from there to home.- Plataman

Best place to exchange dollars for euros?
Best to get Euros from your bank at home, before you leave, then use your debit card to access ATMS in Spain, always carrying a "cushion" for those villages where there is no bank and no ATM.- Plataman

Go to your bank before you leave home and get a supply of Euros ( say 300) to last you for the first week...then use your debit card at banks ( there are lots of banks in Spain and ATMs are easily found. Smaller villages may have no ATM, or only the private ones you normally find in bars or...- Plataman
