I started in April from Seville and heat was not ever a problem.
pack a long sleeve shirt/ jumper for the evenings and lightweight trousers.

We started in Mid April from Sevilla - weather was fine.
End point - go the way of the Sanabres rather than up to Astoria .
Great stretch - have a day off in Ourense.
Buen Camino.
Totally concur with pitztop -I loved the VDLP.

Did it in 3 stages :-
Seville to Caceres
Caceres to Zamora
Zamora to S de C via the Sanabres.
I have a spreadsheet of accommodations for the de la Plata and the Sanabres.
E- mail me if you would like to see it. Look at my blog, May 2017, for accounts, etc

Hola,
Alsa website is like Alice in Wonderland..
Can you bus directly to Zamora, from Asturias airport,
or do you have to transfer to Gijon or Oviedo & bus to Zamora, from there?
Gracias.
Very informative, thank you, as I shall be walking this stretch, next May, recommending from Zamora.
Would be grateful to read of the remainder of your overnight stays!
Hope you continue to enjoy it.
