    We got some from Decatlón. If you bring them it won't rain, if you don't, it will rain buckets. This was our experience.

    I have the red and blue "Tribord" sailing jacket from Decatlón. Great features, well built, pockets zippers, great hood. Advertised as "breathable". It is not. It's like wearing a shower curtain. Waterproof? YES.

    Re-considering zip-off convertible pants

    I find that items that are designed to do two things, usually do them half as well. Stretch denim (Jeans) pants and a separate stretch denim shorts have served me the best. Lots of pockets. They are available in a variety of colors too.

    A quality mobile phone works very well for taking pictures, it is an amazing multi purpose tool. However I also bring a compact camera with a 40X zoom. I have it on my belt. It is the size of small hamburger. The 40X zoom opens up a whole new world of pictures that even the best cell phones...
