    Agreed. I used lush for my hair and body but take half of a Dr. Bronner’s bar for clothes. Lasted me 38 days with plenty left.

    Ha ha. I love my Macabi AND I wore Keen sandals on my first Camino. I’m keeping the skirt and ditching the sandals this year! To each her own, right?!

    The best hiking trousers...

    I like Columbia “Saturday Trail” pants but they aren’t zip-off at ankles. Personally I do everything I can to avoid clothing with extra zippers. Zippers weigh more. Also, when you sit to take off the bottom part of your pant legs, it’s a great time to remove your boots/shoes and check your feet.
