Is anyone starting from Le Puy in the first week of April? I’m starting on April 7 and was just wondering if there would be many pilgrims on the route at that time.
Yesterday I booked flights to Paris then I go to Le Puy to begin walking to Pamplona on April 5. I’m slightly nervous about walking this time of year due to weather conditions (if there is snow will it be unsafe) and availability of accommodation. I would appreciate any advice and opinions of...
I am leaving from Le Puy to SJPDPin late September and have some questions for pilgrims who have walked this route at that time can hopefully answer. These questions have probably been asked before.
Is it crowded at this time of the year?
Do I need to phone ahead to reserve to reserve a room at...

When I completed the Camino Frances in 2015 I said I wouldn’t do it again, then when I finished the Camino Portugues from Lisbon in November 2017 I said the same thing. Now I’m looking forward to starting from Le Puy to SJPDP in September tis year.
I am planning my next camino to be the Le Puy Route finishing in SJPDP. Do I receive a certificate in SJPDP or are they only given on completion in Santiago? I did receive one in Finisterre in October.
Thanks for any information.
I have walked two Camino, finishing the Camino Portugues in October this year and on both occasions have stayed at the Millenium Hotel near CDG Airport before transferring to start the Camino. The hotel will store your luggage for as long as you like for no charge. Both times I left my luggage...
Hi Kanga. In your opinion would Le Puy Route be more physically challenging than the Camino de Santiago. I found some of the mountain stages of the Camino quite brutal. I'm fit enough for these climbs, I'd like to know what I'm in for.
