Good News for pilgrims
There is a new albergue in Lisbon, it was created by a group of Lisbon pilgrims that love the Caminho "Movimento Caminhos Peregrinos".
Its a small albergue but its very useful for pilgrims that arrive by plane in Lisbon because its close to the airport.

The Albergue of Azambuja will open next sunday.
It was closed due to bedbugs.
They replaced all mattresses with full
disinfestation of the Albergue.
The Albergue in Santarem wasn't closed.

Hi Jill If everything goes according to what the Mayor of Azambuja told me the furniture of the old Albergue of Azambuja (now closed) will be use in a temporary Albergue. Until the new one is open by the Santa Casa da Misericordia. So it we don't need to ask for donations for this Albergue.
