Don't forget your hat and lots of snacks and stop when you feel tired. Take off your pack, eat something, drink something and hit the trail again. Listen to your body. You will have a better time of it and learn to walk safely that way. When you meet a pilgrim you like you can always meet them later for dinner if they want to walk and you NEED to rest. Have fun and don't forget your hat!

Hello! I am beginning from SJPDP on Mon, Sept 13th (hopefully!) I get into SJPDP late on Sunday and probably a bit jet lagged (plus I need to get my credential on Mon morning, unless something has changed with getting it in person?) This is my first camino and I'm nervous and excited at the same time! Been looking forward to this and planning since Jan 2020 (reading and watching YouTube videos has been a great help with packing and expectations!), so I do understand being patient and accepting changes in health codes etc. That's my biggest 'fear' is having to deal with too many changes along the way - but keeping fingers crossed!

So I'm hoping I'll start right afterwards! See you on the camino!

Cheers - Lynne
