Welcome to the Forum Annie. How are all of you plans going? Just ask if you want to know anything you think users can help with.

Hopefully this is the first of many visits to the Forum and then in May the first of several visits to the Camino!

Just want to say hello to all those who are walking the camino or are planning it or are going to start walking the camino tomorrow the 16th of May.
A year ago today I took my flight to Paris and the train down to Bayonne and SJPP. Stayed the first night at the hotel Ramuntcho (it wasn´t easy to find a place to stay due to late arrival). Walked from SJPP to Burgos and ahe weather was warm/hot and beautiful (except mountain fog when crossing the Pyreneés, thunder storms in Pamplona, Logroño and Torres del Rio but only in the evenings).

Thanks to all the advice on the forum I was well prepaired and I just liked it soooo much. Walking is my thing and I will be returning to the camino in October 2010 (Porto or Tui to SDC) and in April 2011 Burgos to SDC.
buen camino everybody!!!

Happy Anniversary! I am sure you are going to enjoy re-living your walk over the coming weeks! Margaret

Annie, we'll be walking from Porto in late September (exact dates not firm yet). Maybe we'll see you. Look for an elderly couple, probably holding hands.
