Moving from Australia back to London next week and to honour a new beginning i'm walking my first Camino (CF) early June 2017. Excited...and a little nervous!
First of all, hope moving goes well and smooth. El camino sounds intimidating but once you arrive and see all pilgrims around getting ready to take on the journey, it will lift spirits. I did my first camino last June and heading back to my second one this coming June as well. Weather will be amazing.
Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.
What is the availability of accommodation like in June/ July??? I expect that demand would outstrip supply....due to high numbers of pilgrims??
What is the "doomsday" scenarios if you CANNOT get accommodation??? Am worried as a male.. I could "rough"it. But with my wife accompanying me.. she would freak out!
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi @Sikpupi welcome to the forum. Lots of information and discussion on pre-booking accommodation on the forum. Try the search facility.
The doomsday solution? You get a taxi to an off-Camino hotel. Or you keep walking, or you sleep in a church porch / sports hall / ditch
