2010 Camino Francais December Start from SJPD

I was hoping for a better weather window to do the CF but the only time my wife and I can put together is in Dec-Jan. We have read many reasons for not going at this time of year. If anyone has any experience with the CF at this time of year please chime in. We would love to learn from your experiences. With care we know we can make it. Good luck to all who are walking this year.

Hello. I have walked all the Camino Frances many times in winter during the past five years. One simply needs to be prepared and take nothing for granted. Since you are Canadian I trust that you know how quickly weather can change. Check out the CSJ leaflet on winter walking which offers helpful tips.
